How Does Auto Transport Work?

Transporting your car is an important decision. With Coast to Coast, your vehicle will be treated with care and we will make sure you understand the process every step of the way.

When you call Coast to Coast you will be connected with a transport coordinator based on your desired destination. This coordinator will quote you a price, inform you of the schedule and give you details on the procedure. All vehicles must be operable and running with working brakes. We are not equipped to haul inoperable vehicles of any kind.

We follow a set schedule every week and do our best to stay on schedule. Our routes originate in the Pacific Northwest out of Seattle and Portland. We then filter through Boise, Salt Lake City, and Denver and on to all points of the East Coast.

Coast to Coast Auto Transport is licensed to transport vehicles only. There cannot be any personal belongings or household goods packed inside your vehicle. We prefer they have a ¼ tank or less of gas. All vehicles must be operable and running with working brakes.

Our transport trucks are ten-car capacity, open car haulers. They stretch 80 feet long and 14 feet high and are at tree level when on the road. We do not go into residential neighborhoods and pick up or deliver due to the size of the trucks. The dispatch coordinator, driver, and customer will coordinate a parking lot or shopping center to meet at. The lot must be accessible by truck and it will be as close to your address as we can get. The drivers do not load and unload in the street; it’s too dangerous.

In most situations, payment is due at the time of delivery. We accept cash, cashier’s checks or Postal Money orders for the transport fees.

Our drivers are some of the best in the industry. With decades of car hauling experience, your vehicle will be in excellent hands. Contact us today to schedule your vehicle move.
